Telehealth: We do offer our patients appointments with their GP over the telephone. Patient’s must have had a face to face appointment in the last 12 months to be eligible for a Telehealth Appointment. These appointments are up to our individual doctor’s preference

*No show: If you fail to make your appointment without minimum of 2 hours prior notice, you will incur a non rebatable DNA fee of $25 on your account for normal hours and $35 for after hours, weekends and public holidays. If you cannot make your appointment, please call in advance to reschedule or cancel*

Private billing

Private Patients i.e. patients with no Medicare, will continue to be billed privately and will
be able to claim directly from their Private Insurance Company.

Non standard appointments

There are some appointments that are non standard and you must call our receptionist staff ahead of time to book these in. These include: 

  • Travel medicine 
  • Immunisaions and vaccinations 
  • Pre employment and other medical assessments 
  • Mental health 
  • Preventative health care 
  • Skin checks 
  • Long or prolonged consultation (when you have more than 1 issue to discuss) 

These appointments may come at an extra cost and this cost will depend on the kind of consultation and treatments you require. Please ask our receptionist staff for more details.

Additional fees

In addition to the consultation, out of pocket expenses can apply to some procedures, dressings and treatments as Medicare does not cover the costs of equipment, instruments and dressing requirements. Your doctor will advise you of the estimated out of pocket costs at the time of your consultation, prior to your consultation if practicable. If you have concerns or questions regarding these additional costs, you can discuss them with your GP at the time of your appointment.
